පොහොට්ටුවට ඡන්දෙ දෙන්න එපා කියා හූල් පැහැදිලිවම කිවුවා - හරියටම දෙමල දන්න කෙනෙක් භාෂි තුනෙන්ම පහදයි

ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණට ඡන්දය ලබා නොදෙන ලෙස මැතිවරණ කොමිසමේ සාමාජික රත්නජීවන් හූල් විසින් පැහැදිලිව ඉතා පැහැදිලිවම නමුත් වක්‍රව සඳහන් කර ඇති බව උතුරු පළාත් හිටපු ආණ්ඩුකාර ආචාර්ය සුරේන් රාඝවන් මහතා සඳහන් කරයි.


තම ෆේස්බුක් ගිණුමේ සටහනක් තබමින් ඔහු මෙම මෙසේ පැහැදිලි කර ඇත.


“මම සිංහල නොදනිමි. එබැවින් සිංහල භාෂාවෙන් ලියා ඇති සියලුම කුණු කියවීමට මට නොහැකිය. SLPP ට සහාය දක්වන සමහර මුද්‍රිත / මාධ්‍ය මෙහි ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ ය. ඔවුන් දිගින් දිගටම අමු බොරු ලියමින් සිටිති. ඒවා ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයට විරුද්ධ ය. ඔබ ඔවුන්ට ඡන්දය නොදිය යුතුය. ”

Here he is very clearly (but indirectly) saying dont vote for SLPP – as the media which writes lies ( according to him) is NOT contesting but SLPP. So his argumenht is the since that SLPP supporting media is continue to lie, one should not vote for SLPP.

Clearly out of line for a member of the commission.

His job is to run an election effectively and fairly not to lecture on democracy or voters decision. If he liked such he should resign and teach PoliSci.
